Prunes in Brandy Recipe
Remember that these prunes are very alcoholic so keep them away from the kids!
250g pitted prunes
zest of 1 small lemon
180ml brandy
300ml sterilised glass jar with a lid
Put the prunes, zest and brandy into the jar so that everything is distributed evenly.
Add more brandy if necessary to cover the prunes.
Screw the lid on tightly and reserve for a week or two before eating as a digestive after a meal.
Also good with whipped cream and lots of chopped dark chocolate.
